WiX now supports Windows Vista game setup
Monday, May 19 2008
Big thanks to Richard Thomson (DirectX MVP) for pointing out the blog post that WiX now has gaming extensions to help you install games to Windows Vista and XP. If you're targeting the PC with your XNA Game Studio development, WiX is a great (almost necessary) tool to learn!

And as of last Friday, WiX also supports Windows Firewall. www.joyofsetup.com/.../new-wix-feature
Sharky, thanks for the note about the RSS feeds...things are kinda broken and I"m waiting for the Graffiti 1.1 patch.

The installer for my XNA game is done with WiX v3. I like it, though I still have a lot to learn. One thing I haven't learned is how to make WiX install prerequisite stuff like the XNA & .NET Frameworks & DirectX updates.
I don't know anything about this Game Explorer thing - I don't have Vista for a start. Is it the solution I'm after?
p.s. BTW Dave, your RSS feeds don't seem to be coming through on bloglines.
